Good Pictures

Let's start off with this cute little face, shall we? :) Lilly has been such a "ham" lately and it's adorable. I told her I was gonna give her a kiss and this is the face she made.

And don't you just love getting the perfect picture when you weren't trying to get it...Miss Lexi was playing with her storage toy when I got this one.
Now, Lilly has also been extra, super giggly the last week or so. She gets in these moods where she runs all over the house doing this goofy laugh and smiling from ear to ear. I have gotten some classic pics of her as well. Here are a few...

See? I just wanna scoop her up and never let her go...
And last, but ABSOLUTELY, not least...I got some sweet pictures of Alexis and her puppies the other morning while she was still in her pajamas. She just wanted to snuggle with them so bad. She carried her blanket and teddy bear around from couch to couch, trying to sit with them. :)
Toby was wary of her getting too close but she did it so slowly and sweetly that he realized he would be okay and just went back to sleep beside her.

2nd Pumpkin Patch

We took the girls down the road the other day to the Harker Heights Pumpkin Patch. It was a gorgeous day and we thought it would be fun to let the girls RUN, RUN, and RUN some more. :) Lexi was more calm, which is becoming her new thing, while Lilly went nuts. She picked her tiny little pumpkin (or gourd...we're not sure!) and carried it around with her the whole time.

I just love fall days with sunshine and a breeze, don't you? Here are the girls in a wheelbarrow like last year, although last year they both smiled at the camera.

Lilly talked to and giggled at the scarecrow.
Lexi wanted to help me carry the pumpkin we were going to buy. She kept dropping it and saying, "Ohhhh!"
This was the scene most of the time we were there...a little baby running off into the pumpkins. This is Lilly...
She found it!!! Her perfect pumpkin...
Lexi went to say hi to all the scarecrows...
Well, 1 picture with their fall bows was good. :) At least Lexi looked at her Daddy!
"Mommy!! Look at all these cute pumpkins!" - Lilly
And lastly, we have ONE of Lilly's new things...She woke up one night around 11:30 pm so I brought her into our room to snuggle for a while. She was super groggy at first, but I told her she was funny from something she did and this is the face she then proceeded to give me. Now, if we tell her she is funny, she gives us a huge, goofy smile! I love it!
Have a great Wednesday!

Church Goin' Cuties

Nana Epps got the girls these super cute little dresses. I don't think there is anything cuter than a little girl in tights and dress shoes. :) Here are some pictures of them playing around before church. After church, Eric and I peaked into the 1 year olds room and started laughing. It was snack time and the girls were shoving every single goldfish cracker from their snack cups into their mouths at once. We are careful with the girls portions, since they get excited and like to choke on food. :)

Then Lilly ran to us smiling and laughing, while Lexi went up to every little boy in the room and waved bye-bye to them. The twins were the only girls in there and I think they LOVED it. After the lady handed Lexi to Eric, she started blowing her kisses and saying bye! It was adorable. I really like seeing them play with other kids and enjoying social situations. It warms my heart! :)

Lexi can find any piece of carpet fuzz or sticker burr...anywhere in the house. It's like she has fuzz radar. And she always puts it in her mouth. :) I like this picture since Lilly got down on the floor to see what her sister was doing.
Lexi chilling out...I made them to matching bows with my friend, Jessica! We spent all afternoon making bows while our kids napped. :)

Miss Lilly running around the house...she has been unstoppable lately and loves to be on the go.

Lipstick and Excitement

The girls have a "My Pretty Learning Purse" that they got for Christmas and it is one of their favorite toys. They crack me up. Lexi likes to take the little dollar bill out of it and bury it under something. She may be my thrifty girl. Lilly's favorite thing is to put on the lipstick. She practices putting it on a LOT. So I filmed her briefly the other day. We are working on the lip-smacking sound we make after putting it on. :)

Also, the girls do a new thing. It started with Lilly and she taught her sister. It is soooooo cute when they start doing it together without prompting. I usually ask them if they are excited, and this is what they do....We call it their "I'm so excited!!!" dance. Here is Lexi showing you all how it's done.

Plug Your Ears!!

Lilly LOVES music like you would not believe (although Lexi does too!). Eric and I play a lot of songs for the girls on iTunes and they will just dance away. Well, the other night before bath time, Eric sat at the kitchen table and played a few songs for us. Lilly wanted to sit in his lap and see what he was doing. Then as he was singing to her, she started plugging her ears...it was too funny!!

At first, she thought he was singing good...clap, clap, Daddy!
Then, the ears get plugged....

She has actually been putting her fingers in her ears for a couple of weeks now, and we aren't sure why. But, it was the timing and her bored facial expression that just cracked us up this time! And I cannot possibly do a post without including a picture of Alexis!!!

Pumpkin Patch and A Prayer Request

Prayer Request: My brother-in-law, Sam, is in Iraq and was in an accident the other day. He and 3 others were on patrol when an IED detonated. Thankfully the guy detonated it half a second too early or Sam and the other soldiers would all be dead. We are thanking God for His amazing protection over them!! The vehicle was hit at the front and it was flipped. So while it was bad, it could have been unbelievably worse. Sam had a headache afterwards (which seems normal). Well the headache has not gone away and is getting worse. He is also seeing spots in his vision and can't hear very well out of one ear. So the Army is sending him to get checked out. That's all we know right now. Please keep him (and ALL of our brave men and women over there) in your prayers! Please also be praying for his wife, Christie, and their 5 little girls to have peace and not worry too much! Thank you!

Now totally switching topics....Yesterday we were able to go to Elgin, TX and visit their big pumpkin patch with some of my family. We went with Jason, Kim, and their boys. It was a lot of fun and the girls even loved the cool weather. I was a little worried about their little fingers and ears, but they were fine.

Here are a bunch of pictures...surprised? :) Lilly has on the pink shirt and Lexi has on the black shirt.
They were so interested in looking around that they hardly looked at us in their pictures...
She was actually hugging the pumpkin...what a cutie!

Lilly wanted down. :)

See a theme? Lilly mostly wanted to run around or be held (but only for a moment). She cracked us up, because she was so excited and didn't want to sit still.
We didn't notice the signs that read, "Please do not sit on the antique tractors!" until after we took a few pictures. Shhhh!
Once Lilly played with the ball, we could not distract her from it, no matter how hard we tried. She kept crying, "Ball!" for the rest of the time we were there. The only thing that helped was allowing all the puppies, that had come with the SPCA, lick her face. That made her laugh so hard!! Lexi was pretty chill and mellow the whole time.
My lame attempt to take a picture of all 4 of us on the hayride. Sorry, Lexi...I'll get you in there next time.
Now here we tried our best to take pictures of all 4 kids together....it didn't completely work. My girls were hungry and exhausted, so they sat pretty still for a minute or so.
Poor Tanner had reached his limit of sitting next to those stinky girls. :) Tristan was trying to make him stay. They are so funny!
I love this one, because Lilly has decided to get down and go see her Daddy. Then you have Lexi, just hanging out staring into the bucket of gourds. I think I may have to buy her some of those this year.
Then she noticed the scarecrow sitting on the bench as started talking to him.

We had a great time and I can't wait to take the girls again to the one in Harker Heights. Last year we took them on the 15th of October, so maybe we can go on the same day this year. We'll see. :)
