Happy Girls!

For not feeling well, the girls were super cheerful on Thanksgiving. We even went outside after the big meal and played for a while. I cooked a full Thanksgiving feast and it was wonderful. Thank goodness for HEB...we got a fully-cooked turkey for the same price as frozen and it was ready after 2 hours in the oven. Then all I had to do was put together the side dishes. All in all, I was able to make a huge table of food in 2 hours, while the babies slept. We are still eating the leftovers today. And while we missed seeing extended family, it was really nice to hang out with just us 4. I'm also glad that I was able to cook and serve my girls the first thanksgiving feast they were able to eat. Last year, they slept through the meal and were still nursing exclusively.

Onto cuter things. :) The girls absolutely adore the moon. They always have...from day one, they have kissed the moon in all of their books every single time we read them. They always look into the sky and point it out to us. Thanksgiving was no different. Lilly started it and then Lexi joined in. They ran to the edge of the driveway and started yelling, "Hi, Moon!" while waving and blowing kisses. Here they are loving the moon. :)

And Miss Lexi...

We had tickle time on Thanksgiving too... (Miss Lexi is below)
Lilly knew I was coming to get her....
Then I begged and begged for them to let me take one of them sitting sweetly together....I got a couple, so that was cool!

We did Christmas pictures today but did not purchase the disc. We would have had to spend more than we wanted in order to get the disc, so we just got prints. It was a crazy morning, for sure, but the pictures turned out good. :)

Ponytails

The twins hair has gotten so long. It constantly hangs in their faces. I don't mind them having their hair down, but I wish they could see with it down. :) They pull their bows out almost immediately, and pigtails are hard to keep in as well. Last night I put their hair in ponytails and it has gotten so long that almost all of it fits. They looked like such big girls too. We may get them a trim, but we really want Eric's mom to see how long it has grown first when we go to Kentucky.

Here are my little ponytailed dolls: (Lilly on the right)

Lexi wanted to pull out every single clothing item from her closet organizer...
