Birthday Portraits

These are the ones of my darlings together! I love how they are with each other...it's absolutely precious and wonderful! Lilly is wearing the orange and Lexi is wearing the pink.

Call me crazy, but I just cannot imagine having only 1 baby! Even when things are a little nutty and I realize it's because there are 2 of them, I would NOT change anything! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE being the mommy of twins!

It's Party Time!

We had such a fun, fabulous birthday party for the girls last weekend! I have been planning it for a long time and I think they had a BLAST!!! This year we invited more of their friends from church and less of Mommy and Daddy's friends. :) Of course, we still had some good friends there...There were just a lot more sweet little ones this year. The girls couldn't stop talking about the party for days!

We had an Abby Cadabby Party, because there are 2 fairy princesses at my house! :) We had to have it mid-morning, to make sure the "no-nappers" weren't too grumpy for their guests. We served cheeses, crackers, hummus, and fresh fruit. This was such a fun and easy set-up for me, especially since we got back in town Thursday night and the party was Saturday morning.

I had planned to make their cake. I even practiced making fondant cakes and felt good about the way it might look, but once I found out I was going to be driving back from Beaumont, I decided to order one instead. I just added the pink and blue sprinkles, the Abby topper, and the glitter candles. I like the way it turned out...pretty, simple, not too crazy, and still sparkly like the girls! Plus, it was super yummy!

The cups were probably my favorite. My best friend made an Abby clip art that said "Happy 2nd Birthday, Lilly and Lexi!" I printed them off on sticker paper and then put them on cups and bowls. It added a sweet personal touch, I thought.

My Lilly...such a silly girl!

Yummy, crackers!!
They were super interested in opening presents this year.
This picture cracks me up. I used to hide behind my hands when people would sing Happy Birthday at my parties too. Lilly was fine until everyone started to sing. Lexi wasn't phased!

Lexi's punch mustache...she loves Aunt Tyff!

Lexi was TOTALLY in love with the bunch of balloons that Uncle Nate and Daddy got them for the party. Lexi carried it around for hours until she asked me to pop them all! It was fun to pop them!
Lilly and her Abby headband! They didn't keep them on very long though.
It was such a great party! Last year's party was also fun, but sooooooo hot being outside! I am really glad we had this one inside!
