Busy Having Fun

Well this little guy is SO happy to be home, that's for sure! Sweet Sneezy is one happy boy!

Last week, we were pretty busy. We ran lots of boring errands and few fun ones. The girls and I stopped by our FAVORITE local consignment store in Harker Heights where we found these super cute rain boots for $6. These little goofs love to splash in puddles so I have been wanting to get them some. I just refuse to spend $16 for each pair. These are awesome and should fit sometime in the next year!

Lexi has been trying on all her hats at once...
Lilly has been a bit under the weather with the 2 year molars coming in, but still sweet and cute!
See what I mean??
Even in the hot weather, we have spent a lot of time under our tree, sliding and splashing in the hose...

We even went to Petco to watch the birds for a while...
This was back in Beaumont, but I REALLY like how much fun they had in front of a wacky mirror!
We have been really goofy without a mirror too! When Lexi wants to smile really big, this is what you get!
This last picture makes me smile, but also makes me worry a little. Can you tell it's on a hospital bed? As I mentioned before, Lexi had a short, minor seizure from a sudden high fever. Well, about a week later, when she was all better, she had a strange fit. I've been calling it a fit because I don't know what else to call it. She had what, at first glance, appeared to be a temper tantrum, but it got weird and lasted 10-15 minutes. At the worst point, her body was completely rigid and she had her feet up on the dining room table chair and her back arched super high. She was unresponsive and it was a little scary. I told Eric about it when he arrived home and my description of it reminded him of someone getting tazed. So we decided that if it happened again, we were going to the doctor. About a week later, or this last Tuesday, it happened again. I was home alone with the girls waiting for Eric to arrive home from Beaumont. So I completely freaked out when the triage nurse on the phone told me to get her to an ER or call an ambulance.

She was fine when we got to the ER, so it was hard to know what happened. I took several cell phone videos but the doctor had a hard time telling what exactly was happening. He said if it was his child, he would go see a pediatric neurologist. So we are waiting for an appointment to see one over at a different hospital. It may be necessary to have a sedated MRI and perhaps an EEG to see what's going on. I pray the doctor thinks she is fine and we don't need any more tests. I also pray that the doctor catches any problems too. But in the meantime, this little smile from the girl in purple hearts keeps me gloriously happy and busy! Oh and the other little girl keeps me busy and happy as well. :)
