Easter Fun & Sickness

We had a really nice Easter. I wasn't sure I would be able to say that, because Lexi's eyes got gunky on Thursday and we ended up making 2 trips to Urgent Care before Sunday. We are still not sure what it is, but it is mostly over with now. We have been flushing pretty little blue eyes out every 2-3 hours and adding medicinal drops. The girls like to giggle and say, "Mmmmm, yummy!" as we put the drops in. Don't ask. We have no clue. :)

So while we stayed close to home and avoided other people, we had a little egg hunt in the living room. It was a lot of fun. The girls even had me hide a little dog cookie for Sneezy, so he could hunt too.

The girls wanted nail polish for Easter, so I hid little bottles in their eggs along with the candy. Lexi ran over to Lilly and showed her the nail polish. They were so excited to see what colors they got. They got clear with pink glitter, hot pink, red, and dark purple.

They got sweet cards in the mail from their grandparents and great-grandma. Then they got these cute little bunnies from Nana and Papa Tucky. They felt pretty special to get such thoughtful gifts from their family. Thank you guys!
Saturday, they got dressed up in their cute little chick tops even though we were skipping the community egg hunt.
Some hamming around on the bench was in order..
Eye infections can't stop us from swinging in the wind and smiling like it was the best day ever!
Here is a picture that means a lot to me. These are my "four" kiddos. Toby is buried under his red bud tree and then we have the other three goobers. I was excited to get this picture of them all together. :)
Sneezy feels better with his spring/summer cut. Plus, I was tired of brushing out all the sticker burs every day.
Lexi being cute...
Checking out the basil and putting wild flowers in the other pots...
This is just a silly picture that I took on my phone while we were waiting in the Urgent Care clinic. The people there were soooooo nice. We ended up being behind a patient who needed lots of immediate care, so they took my cell phone number and let us leave and take the girls to lunch. They called us when the wait was close to 10 minutes, so we didn't lose our spot or have to sit in the exam room for an hour and a half. That, my friends, is good service!
