Photos at Sears

Well, we got the girls' first professional photos done and it was quite the experience. First of all, I hate the prices at those places. You just want great pictures of your children, not to sign your life and hard-earned money away. Second, by the time we got back there to take the pictures, we had been there an hour and a half and the girls were getting hungry and fussy. Plus, it was just too hot in that place.

But after all is said and done, the girls were cheerful and the pictures turned out so super cute!! We ordered some for relatives and such, but we also got the CD of digital images with a copyright release...yea for that!! Here are just 3 of the adorable images that were captured. I did not post any of the poses that were ordered because I still want it to be a surprise for some of the ones getting pictures.

These 3 pictures make me laugh because you can see the progression of Lilly falling over. She does great on tummy time, but now sees it only as an opportunity to roll over to her back. So we kept sitting her back up and she continued to roll to her back, like it was her favorite little game. It was pretty cute!! Lexi had a great smile at the beginning but it slipped away as Lilly kept being silly. :)

Miss Lilly

Here she is...Miss Lilly! Yesterday we had a blog of her sister and today is dedicated to Lilly...they are both such darlings and the little loves of my life!!

I had some fun pictures of Lexi from the past few days and thought I would do a post of just her!!! Tomorrow we can do one of Miss Lilly!! Gotta love that bath hair!

Growing

I thought this was cute...here we have me holding the girls when they were around 4-5 weeks old. Lilly is in the brown and Lexi is wearing pink.
Now here is a picture that Eric took last night by our Christmas tree. The girls will be 6 months old one week from today!! Once again, Lilly is on the left and Lexi is on the right.

New Highchair

Well I brought the new highchairs in from the garage yesterday, and today, while the girls were napping, I got them all scrubbed down and clean. The previous owners had them in great shape and I didn't have to do much, just wipe them down. When the girls woke up, we put them in and Eric got the camera...they weren't sure what was going on at first, but they loved the toys!!

New Hair & More

Well I did it! When Eric got home, he just smiled and said he thought it was cute but he would have to get used to it. I love it however!! Here is a picture.

Here are some other fun pictures that we took the past couple days. We have been having so much fun with babies...their personalities are showing more and more every day.

The twins playing in their bumbo seats...they like to throw the toys and let me pick them back up again and again.

Lexi wants to crawl sooooo bad...
Lexi likes to roll over on her belly now at naptime. I usually have to make sure she is sleepy at night before putting her down or she will roll over before falling asleep. Here is Lilly being a sweet pillow for her sister.

Lilly was looking up at a toy I had...I just LOVE these Christmas outfits that their Great-Grandma made for them. They are going to wear them as much as possible while they can fit into them. Daddy loves his baby girl...this is Lilly bug!

My Hair

So I have been tired of my hair lately and decided today that I would go get it cut. I need a trim anyway, so why not something more drastic? :) I am considering some fairly short and choppy, shag styles. I am going tomorrow morning and we shall see what I get the nerve to do...I will post a picture if I do anything more than a trim.
