Fun Girls

Even with medical and house dramas unfolding left and right, we still manage to have loads of fun around here. I don't know what I would do without this amazing little family I have! I took the girls to Sam's Club last weekend to get diapers and we just HAD to get this "cuddle roll" for them. It was not expensive and, the deciding factor...it is PURPLE!! They fought over it for a few days and I was about to return it when they started sharing it. Now, they sit like this on it...

It is in the "reading" corner. :)

The other morning before church, they looked SO grown up. I had never done their hair like that before and it was too cute. So I grabbed the camera...
I captured some sweet moments.
Muah! Love ya sis!
Lexi loves her babies. She takes them to see Dr. Riser every day to make them all better. :)
I like the way you can see Eric's hand in this picture and Lexi looking up SO high!
Lilly is getting good at silly faces in pictures!
They love to have giggle/tickle time. Here is Lexi getting tickled by Lilly...
Then squished by Lilly...
Snuggle, snuggle time...
More giggling and tickling...see a pattern yet?

And another kiss! They are really affectionate and sweet. :)
These are the moments that make all the cranky-two-year-old moments fade away! Thank goodness, huh?

MRI

Thank you all for your prayers yesterday! The MRI went well as far as Lexi and the sedation were concerned. She did great and was told she was the best patient! She didn't flinch one bit for her IV. She stared down the nurse a little bit, but sat very still and held me and her sheepy. The nurse was wonderful and gave her all sorts of goodies. Lexi told me her wrapped up hand with the IV looked like a "cool little arm" and I should kiss it. The front desk ladies even changed the channel to cartoons for her since she had to wait a half hour with the IV in her hand. Overall, it went so well.

We will hopefully have the results soon too. An FYI side note though...for a mom who just held her dog as he was put to sleep a few weeks ago, holding your sweet angel as she falls asleep with anesthesia and starts the normal, jerky reactions, it is SO CREEPY!!! The doctor was standing there and assured me beforehand that she would do that and it was fine. I still freaked a little in my head though. :) God is good!

Tomorrow It Is...

Lexi & Lilly

Tomorrow is Lexi's MRI. I was a weepy mess on Saturday and Sunday, but have felt fine since then. We trust God and know she will be in the hands of professionals...however the fact that I am dealing with a hospital I distrust, makes it harder. Pray for the anesthesiologists and the doctors and technicians.

The most miserable part for my good little eater will be the no eating rule after 7am tomorrow. We are all getting up early and having a good breakfast at 6:30. Lilly gets to play with good friends and will have a blast. Her appointment is at 12:30 but the MRI is at 2pm.

Thanks for all the kind words and prayers! I'll be sharing about our fun zoo trip soon! Night!

Friends

I am so thankful for great friends! This month has been rough and I am positive that I would not have been quite so calm if it hadn't been for the sweet people that are part of our lives. Last week, we got spoiled by spending so much time with some of these wonderful people. The girls got to play with some of the girls that make them smile the most! They talk about their friends ALL the time!

So not only do they have each other...

But they are also blessed with this darling little girl, Kiley! They have not stopped talking about her since the first time they met her and Lexi has started calling her "Kiley Sugar Bug". She turned 3 this weekend. Nice expression, Lilly! :)
Lexi and the birthday girl...What a fun day!
Apparently Sneezy likes it when she visits us too! :)
Then there was the day we got to hang out with these two...aren't they cute?! Ariel and Trinity are super fun and sweet! I was attempting to have them rest here, but discovered quickly that 4 little girls snuggled together makes for one fun time!

Trinity lined up stacks of books so she could read to the girls :)
We have also been going back to Texas Tumblers to play "gym". Thank goodness for Kiley, or my girls would never have been so brave. I think this was the first time Lexi went all the way into the bouncy house and then actually jumped.
They still love to "jump"...
See? I am so thankful and feel so blessed that my girls have good, sweet kids to be around and hang out with. Do you think my little dragon likes her friend?
