Just Too Good...

These are things just too good not to write down for the kids to read one day...

We watched the movie Flipper last week, because this crazy mommy got a bad case of strep throat. The girls were asking if Flipper was a boy or a girl. We told them he was probably a boy. Suddenly Lexi exclaims, "I'm a girl! Boys are disasters!!"

If Noah is super fussy because he is tired and won't go to sleep yet, just play Kutless's song, Carry Me To the Cross". He smiles, closes his eyes, and drifts off to sleep.

Lexi was dipping her apples into ketchup the other day. I asked her if it tasted good, cause it looked kind of gross to me. She said, "Apples are gross and that's why you have to dip them into ketchup. Dr. Seuss likes it that way too!" She was so proud to know how Dr. Seuss likes his apples.

Today we were playing outside in the sunshine. The girls were on their tricycles going up and down the sidewalk. They were pretending that the front door area was a carnival and there was a pyramid. I hear Lilly say that they are teenagers in the pyramids and that teachers don't like teenagers. :) She's a smart little one.

A little later in the afternoon, Lexi was fussing at Lilly for something. Lilly bends down and cups Lexi's face in her hands and said something super sweet to calm her down. I don't remember what she said at this point, but the whole scene was precious.

I also had some significant quiet time with Noah this afternoon while everyone else slept. He just smiled and talked and tried to tell me all sorts of stuff. Right now, he is in love with ceiling fans, shadows, and his sisters. Those are three things he will watch like crazy.

He will be 2 months old on Saturday and I can't wait to put all his stats and fun information. He is quite the baby and we love him so very much!
